Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions, Sri Lanka

Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions caters for a wide variety of clientele.  The luxury boutique hotel at the heart of the complex was considered to be an overambitious project at the time of inception but is now flourishing and has received accolades and commendations from the travel industry and all its former guests.  In 2000, Jetwing received a Commendation Award at the Green Globe Achievement Awards for sustainability in green tourism. Following closely on the heels of these accomplishments, in 2006 and 2007 Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions was voted as Sri Lanka's Leading Resort in the World
Tourism Awards, for two consecutive years Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions was also voted Sri Lanka's Leading Spa Resort.  Negombo town has grown from a simple fishing village into a prominent and popular tourist destination in Sri Lanka. However, despite this, the town still maintains its traditional fishing industry and Negombo’s fishing harbour is well worth a visit.  The Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions has been built in a very sympathetic style with its natural surroundings and achieves a very harmonious union with the landscape surrounding it.


Spa Programme & Treatments

Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions enjoys the services of several doctors who specialise in the fields of Neurology, Gynaecology, Dermatology and Ayurveda. These doctors are all available for consultation during your stay. In addition a special in-house Ayurveda consultant is also available 24 hours.   Treatments in the spa include packages for diabetic clients, beauty treatments incorporating purification and revitalisation programmes based on Ayurveda Panchakarma to restore lost health and vitality. Curative residential programmes in which Ayurveda treatment has proved particularly successful are also available.  Ayurveda methods are also used in the treatment of chronic ailments as well as neuralgia and rheumatic pain and psychosomatic problems. The treatments are strongly focused on mobilising the body's own resistance mechanism.

Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions guests staying  a minimum of three days  can expect to receive the following as a typical package:

·         Music therapy from a specialist in therapeutic healing.

·         Special consultations with the chief doctor and cookery demonstrations.

·         Yoga and meditation classes from a specialist Indian guru.
