Location

Oberoi Rajvilas is eight kilometres from the centre of Jaipur in the Rajasthan countryside in the north west of India, a 40-minute drive from Jaipur Airport. Jaipur is capital of Rajasthan and was also capital of the former princely state of Jaipur. Founded in 1727, it is meticulously planned, with wide regular streets. Known as the ‘pink city’ on account of the many buildings dressed in pink stucco or pink and red sandstone, it has many fascinating monuments and palaces to visit. These include sights like the famous many-windowed Palace of Winds, Nahargarh Fort, which enjoys an impressive vantage point overlooking the city, and the remarkable Jantar Mantar observatory complex.
