Location
Next to the Sal River and near a bustling fishing village on the south Goa coast, the Leela Kempinski is 40 kilometres from the international airport and 50 kilometres from Panjim, the capital of Goa. Goa was ruled by the Portuguese from 1600s up until 1961 and the region has many historic buildings and monuments as well as fantastic beaches, stunning tropical scenery and a unique, laid-back lifestyle. Goan cuisine is justifiably famous as well, combining south Indian and Portuguese influences.
