Location

Set on the five-kilometre-long Grand Anse Beach, Spice Island Beach Resort is just 10 minutes from the international airport and approximately 15 minnutes’ drive from the island capital St George’s. Grenada is known as the Spice Island, and you can visit the plantations and factories that produce the nutmeg and mace the island is justly famous for. The island can be circled in a day, and there is much to see, from historic rum distilleries to leatherback turtle-nesting beaches, crater lakes and hillside rainforest to tropical waterfalls and the windswept Atlantic coastline. St George’s itself is a bustling and colourful port with a lively street market, and the recently redeveloped national stadium regularly hosts regional and international cricket matches.
