The resort features seven restaurants and bars to choose from, ranging from contemporary Asian cuisine to authentic Italian specialities. Location

Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort and Spa is on the northern tip of Borneo, 10 minutes from Kota Kinabalu and the international airport. It is in the Malaysian state of Sabah, which is famous for its population of wild orang utans, the Asian elephant and the rafflesia, the largest flower in the world. You can see orang utans and other wildlife at the nearby Rasa Ria Nature Reserve.
