Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort, Mauritius

The Heritage Golf and Spa Resort features 154 deluxe rooms, five suites and one villa, each decorated in a contemporary African style and all with terrace or balcony.  Rooms and suites all come with individual air conditioning, ceiling fan, bathroom with shower & bath, telephone, satellite TV, hair dryer, safe, mini bar, tea and coffee facilities and internet access.  The Villa accommodation has two rooms en suite, as well as a children’s room, a spacious veranda, private pool, CD & DVD and 24hr butler service. The “Gold du Chateau” Championship golf course associated with the hotel was designed by Peter Matkovitch, but if golf isn’t your thing then choose from tennis on the two floodlit tennis courts, archery, water skiing, boules, scuba diving or cruises or work out in the fully equipped gymnasium.  If that's too energetic, then relax and be pampered in the Seven Colours Spa with steam room, sauna, plunge pool and Jacuzzi.

Spa Facilities

Seven Colour’s philosophy is based on the idea that everyone has their own unique definition of well being based ion their individual life style, character and outlook.  Knowing how to respond to feeling and emotions, understanding your surroundings and how best to interact with your environment:  these are the routes to inner equilibrium and thus to inner calm.  Seven Colours’ Spa treatments are based on the seven colours linked to the seven energies of the body expressed and accessed through the Chakras.  The aim is to rebalance these seven energies through spa treatments and natural products to achieve a perfect harmony and enhance the well being of the body and mind.  Treatments include:

  • Source of Life Massage.  A marvellous combination of the Seven Colours treatments including Reiki, relaxing massage, relief of muscle stress and drainage for deep seated general well being.
  • Seven Colours Massage.  A relaxing yet energising treatment that uses the energy of semi-precious stones and the warmth of volcanic rocks during a series of applications that releases tensions.
  • Mauritian Massage.   A combination of European treatments and African techniques found in the surrounding local cultures.  Indian head massage, Shiatsu for the face, drainage and relief of muscles stress and complete rebalancing of the body and soul.
  • Musical Massage.  Treatment in time to the rhythm of music and in tune with its vibrations for a harmonious and stimulating massage.  Just lay back and enjoy!
  • Rejuvenating Massage.  A stimulating treatment that removes toxins built up in the organs, muscles, joints, circulatory, digestive and lymphatic systems.  Relaxing, rejuvenating and assists in the regeneration of the metabolism.
