Location
Sandwiched between the rugged Hajar Mountains and the eastern coast of the UAE, Fujairah Rotanna Resort and Spa is on Al Aqah Beach, some 45 kilometres from Fujairah National Airport and 140 kilometres from Dubai International Airport. The village of Dibba is 15 kilometres from the hotel, and centre Fujairah is 49 kilometres away.
Fujairah forms one of the UAE’s seven Emirates, and is the only one situated entirely along the Gulf of Oman, with a 90-kilometre coastline. It’s one of the smallest Emirates, but packs in considerable natural beauty, with the Hajar Mountains an ever-present backdrop, and steep valleys leading down to the sandy palm-dotted coast.
Fujairah city is rapidly developing, but retains many historic sights along with ultra-modern malls and towering skyscrapers. The surrounding area also has many evocative desert forts to visit, and there are plenty of excellent diving locations to visit as well.
