Despite its grand scale, the strength of the Amirandes lies in its details and features. Exotic lagoons flow around natural stone terraces which are punctuated with sunken seating which provide a sense of floating on water. An Olympic-size seawater pool, children’s pool and heated indoor fresh water pool are complemented by over 60 private swimming pools – including the Amirandes’ Star Pools which feature multicoloured star lights as well as temperature and current controls. The two hundred and twelve accommodations feature indulgent details such as private gymnasia, home cinema and state-of-the-art bathrooms with colour therapy and aromatherapy Jacuzzi bathtubs. The villa area is served by a separate entrance and plays host to a private beach which is only accessible to villa guests.

Amirandes’ Elixir Spa offers true sanctuary for the senses where peace and simplicity is key. Seven massage and treatment suites designed for individuality, offer signature treatments and Ayurvedic therapies using organic plants and the extracts from many of Crete’s rare, aromatic herbs.
The spa also offers an indoor pool, relaxation lounges serving complimentary tea and fruit juices along with separate men’s and women’s changing rooms that both have sauna and showers. Contained within the spa there is also a state-of-the-art cardio-fitness gym and Beauty Centre with two manicure / pedicure rooms. In-room treatments are available on request.
