Croatia has a varied climate, with continental climate conditions inland and Mediterranean influence on the Adriatic coast. Peak season is between July - August, with temperatures ranging from 20C to 30C.
The shoulder seasons are between May, June and September which ideally is the best time to visit Croatia.

The official language is Croatian. Other languages spoken are Serbian, Slovenian, Hungarian and Italian. People working in tourism industry generally speak excellent English, plus some Italian and German.
